This particular project was for a private home in Singapore. There is a large outdoor sculpture installed into the wall that includes a big rear steel plate and 3 large birds casted from copper. Whilst the rear metal plate was in excellent condition the 3 birds had suffered exposure damage from the sun and rain. The client wanted to have the 3 birds restored and we handled the removal, restoration, and re-installation.
The restoration job involved stripping away existing damaged paintwork, sanding rough areas, and then applying a high quality primer. After this we worked with the client to identify a suitable gold tone for repainting. In addition to leveraging a high quality outdoor paint we also applied additional coating protection to extend the lifespan.
