Questions

Frequently asked

How much does art restoration typically cost?

It depends on each artwork, but we have a fair and systematic approach to quoting every kind of restoration job. For paintings, we consider size, medium, condition, time required, and materials. For sculptures, we look at on-site versus off-site work, access requirements, any special needs such as lifts or scaffolding, time, and materials. We are typically very competitive, and clients value our high-touch service.

Do you restore and maintain outdoor sculptures?

Yes. We work with corporations and MCSTs across Singapore to restore and maintain artworks on their premises. We are also engaged to perform regular maintenance on various terms, for example every six months or annually.

My canvas painting has been ripped or torn. Can it be repaired?

Generally yes. It is best to share a few photos with us by email or WhatsApp. It is a common issue and we have successfully repaired many such works over the years, from transport and contractor damage to dropped, snagged, or brittle aged pieces.

I have a paper work with mould on it. Can you restore it?

If your artwork is Chinese ink on paper, we have a lot of experience removing mould spots and would be happy to help. If it is photography or prints on paper, this is not something we can assist with.

Do you offer regular maintenance of sculptures and other artwork?

Yes. We provide ongoing maintenance for a number of clients in Singapore.
